Ever have a day when you wonder if you’re going to get through everything that life has tossed your way? I’ve been having a few weeks like that of late >.>; and its starting to get a little on my nerves... *sigh* I’ve just got to buck up and get on with it... shame that my Master skill seems to be procrastination *headdesk* I already have several copies of this so called list sitting around so I can try and keep on track... the main reason for posting this is so that everyone who is interesting might know what is going on Also, there are a few things in here that I’d like some feedback on! So feel free to comment! Right... lets get this ball rolling...

Two Weeks to go
Crits

No, that’s no mistake the two of those events are lumped together for a reason, in regards to this current semester of art school (TAFE ... now called Polly-tech ... WTF). I literally only have two weeks of classes left... please welcome absolute panic for me... especially for the classes I dislike... Metalwork and woodwork make my gut lurch every time I think I about how much shit I still have to do... Sure, my procrastination is pretty bad prolly because I hate these two classes so much. The same can be said for Print Making... but I might be able to kick myself up the ass for that one... *headdesk* or not... my teacher annoys me so much... *squirm* some days the effort seems sooo not worth it; more so when I’m convinced that the lecturers are pandering their attentions to everyone other than me *anger vent* ...

Well I’m ahead in drawing and I might be able to get some painting done soon... >.> ugh I had painting, lack of control shits me greatly... even though my teacher let me paint Okami... yeah you heard right; although he spent the whole lesson calling her ‘Rover’ which I might call the piece for shits and giggles... yes I have a whacked sense of humour...

Anyway... provided I get my head together or not; the week after the last two weeks is crits week (also known as Stress explosion week and headless chicken week). Ready your Stress-O-Meter and run... its basically a week long race to finish everything off and present on a assigned day of the week... hopefully we’ll be on Friday so I have a little more time to get everything done...

That being said though Crits is a great time to get photos of my stuff all set up... anyone interested if I took some shots? Yes I know I still have to get up photos of the infamous dragon... they is coming, these holidays I’ll haul him out and set him up in the garden and take some shots; Promise; you all have permission to hound me if you want. *hides from the raving fans*

Babies...

Slightly unrelated... but I’m a co-admin of an online Weyr (again) and we have a hatching soon... hopefully LATE November so I have time to write babies for it. We’re in need of members if anyone is interested; we’re slightly un-cannon; check it out here: [link] Baikal Weyr.


New Pet Project

Yes... I have a new Pet project; much like my DoL (dragons of Literature) series I started a while back. Figures that I would come up with something to do when I should be doing my homework ... >.>; curse my procrastination. A while ago I got my hands on some ATC’s (Artist Trading Cards) blanks of course... they are Bristol *drools*. Seriously... Bristol is awesome... if anyone in America wants to send me some A4 Bristol sheets I’ll be eternally happy and grateful (there would be free art involved too)... its IMPOSSIBLE to get here in Australia; NOONE IMPORTS IT! *dies* the only way we can get it is as ATC’s... *headdesk* sucks...

Anyway, back to my point; in commemoration of FINALLY finishing SotC (Shadow of the Colossus) I’ll be doing a set of ACEOs (Art Card Editions or Originals) it will prolly be 18 cards... 16 Colossi; 1 Dormin; 1 Wanda. If I have time... or if I feel like it I might also do one of Mono; Argo and Eamon... despite the way the game goes

Heck I might even get really ambitious and do a few other games... any suggestions?

Unrelated note here; but I have to bring it up, given the fact I just went through my dA messages. Considering ’s recent journal; found here: [link] , I have to giggle... because it would seem that a few people have already made ACEOs of SotC >.>;; such as [link] I only hope I can do the game justice without looking like I’m copying other people *flail*

Other unrelated note, while I finished the game, it was through playing in tandem with my Cus... it irks me how he is a better gamer than me... or has better beginners luck... he managed to nail all the Colossi like first time... when several of them had me wanting to rage quit after the owned my ass some 10 times in a row... *headdesk*

Secret Santa Project

With all my school work wrapped up I’ll have plenty of time to work on other things... art as well as getting some decent reading done; I have series books on my shelf that are taunting me because I’ve been processing though the first one all too slowly ... >.> seriously I’ve been ‘reading’ it for nearly two months and get like less than two pages read a day because of everything else I have to do... irritating...

That being said I’m REALLY LOOKING FORWARD to doing the Secret Santa Project through dA and ’s organisation! its going to be so much fun! *runs around like a loon*


Christmas Image

Well; this is dA, so there seems to be an unwritten rule that that says I have to produce a Christmas image... this year I’m rather stumped so far... Anyone got any suggestions or requests for the Yule image? ... why I might throw a Santa hat on a Colossus when I do my ACEOs... *Snort* ... *snicker* dear gowd... that’s hilarious... I might just do that! Suggestions are still open though!


DoL

I’d like to get more of my DoL (Dragons of Literature) series done over the holidays... I’m looking at doing a few charcters from Graham Edward’s books. Has anyone read them? If so any requests? I’m thinking of Haycon, Archen, Wraith, Cumber and of course Fourtune... please forgive me if I got their names wrong I haven’t got the books out atm... I think they are under my bed...


ATCs / ACEOs

Yush... new project as I mentioned above I’ll be doing SotC set and perhaps a few others as ACEOs. Although; I’m looking for artists who want to do ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) because I’d love do some work to swap with people ^^ like mini trades; anyone interested?


10 years of Thrivians!

Hey; have a cookie if you’ve read this far, and have a browine if you know what I’m now talking about. Next year marks 10 years of Thrivians, an original species made by and later me (worked out the anatomy because of her Biology class). Thrivians can be found at TEN YEARS PEOPLE! TEN! Cally and I are both WTFing... as Celebration we’re going to try and do some colab work (which will be our first since 2006) and maybe even hold a contest, or two. I personally had an Idea for a calender of sorts ... for ‘year of the Thrivian’ but it would be drawn throughout 2010 rather than before it (because I’m not that fast) each month would be a different Thrivian, prolly out of the god circle (as there are 11 powers). So far I had... (idea wise) ...

Nov: Time...

I’ll work on the rest; I’m open to suggestions though!


Masters of Paris!

This is more aimed at January 2010; and I are looking at going to Canberra to catch the touring show of the French Master pieces from Paris... so if you’re a Canberran and you want to met up, give us an Oi and we’ll see what we can do ^^





And I think that’s it for the year... along with organising shit... like Uni and other things *collapse* This is one Busy Dracie signing out for now...
