So here we have the second piece in what might turn out to be a series for me; DoL (Dragons of Literature). It’s Iskierka from Naomi Novik’s Temeraire series; starting with ’His Majesty’s Dragon’. FANTASTIC SERIES! If you haven’t read them I would urge you to do so as soon as possible! They are stunning!
Iskierka turns up in the third book, and she is a spunky little firebreather! And she so awesome!
This whole piece is done with fineliner pens; all tone was achieved with hatching and cross hatching; four colours in this one: black, yellow, red, and green. Again there is a large amount of detail in this piece but it was so fun ^^
I’m really enjoying doing these, so if anyone has a dragon from a book they would like to see done let me know ^^ I’m all up for having a go.
Anyway; enjoy. Also, critique is more than welcome. ^^
